Toys'R'Us just leaked their 81-page big toy advertisement book which was set to officially release later this month. If you guys are not familiar with the big toy book, TRU releases it every year around this time, as a book of weekly advertisements with special coupons and discounts that are valid for an entire month.

This year the theme to the Half Price Books Black Friday sale is Freebie Friday! Doors will open at 7am and the first 100 people will get tote bags with $5 gift card, and one lucky winner will get a tote bag that will contain a $100 gift card.

Many manufactures and consumers believe this year is the year of 3D TVs. However, we think differently. We still believe it is way to early for consumers to purchase a 3D TV because of the limited 3D content and the hefty price tag of the 3D TV. We feel that ever since 3D TVs were first released in 2009, the technology to the 3D hasn't really changed the market.

Looks like Chase and a few retail stores have been working together to make this upcoming holiday season just a little more special. Chase is offering Sapphire and Ink credit card holders extra discounts and extra cash back to stores like Groupon, Kohls, Best Buy, Apple Store, Target and Overstock.com.

Looks like Bath and Body Works 2011 VIP tote bag is back again! Today, Bath and Body Works leaked a small portion of their Black Friday promotion which offers their 2011 VIP bag (Valued at $100+) on Black Friday. Although the pricing is not mentioned on the promotional ad, we expect to see similar pricing to what we saw last year which was $20 for the VIP Bag with purchase of $40 or more at Bath and Body Works.

Rumor has it that both Microsoft and Sony are planning to make a big splash on Black Friday this year! According to tomsguide.com, Microsoft is rumored to release a major dashboard update on their XBOX 360 console on November 25th. This major update includes Microsoft's Silverlight integration which will include both voice recognition and gesture control on the XBOX Kinect.

Following the first 2011 Black Friday ad release, Ace Hardware just released their 3-day Black Friday sale today. Although the start time is not listed on their Black Friday ad we believe their doors will open at 7am, since this is traditionally when they've opened in the past. In addition to their Black Friday ad, Ace Hardware is also offering 50% off one regular-priced items...

Forget the netbooks. Remember what Apple said earlier this year about their iPad 2 being the “Year of iPad 2”, well let me help Apple rephrase the sentence to the “Year of the Tablets”. With more and more different variety of tablets sold this year, Allthingsd is estimating a total of 54.7 million tablet devices sold this year in which about 20 million will be sold during this upcoming holiday season.

Congrats to Harbor Freight for being the first Black Friday ad released this year. Harbor Freight just released a 2-page ad listing the 3-day Black Friday sale they are going to have starting on November 25th. Harbor Freight's Inside Track Club members get early access to the the Black Friday sale starting at 6AM while non-members start at 7AM!

Walmart just released their press release on what they believe to be the top 20 holiday toys of 2011. The list includes toys for all age range including two Walmart exclusives.
